RIB SHACK FILMING DAY

When one of the RIB Shack Marine Shared Boat owners turns out to be pretty nifty with a drone. We thought it would be a great opportunity to get footage for our new website.

During Spring, Summer and Autumn we run a monthly competition. We ask owners to send us any videos or photos taken whilst enjoying their boat. Then wel enter them into a draw to win a bottle of Champagne. We love seeing the entries of everyone having fun, enjoying their boats and the places they visit. When sitting at a desk, these are a wonderful form of escape!. Over the past year, one of our owners has been sending us some amazing drone videos which are used regularly on our social media channels. With our new website being built, Colin and Helen chatted with the owner and he kindly agreed to shoot some footage of the fleet for us to use on the website. So dates went in the diary and fingers crossed the weather would be kind.

Solent Filming Day – May 2022

We were really fortunate with a lovely sunny Saturday.  Owners and members of the RSM team met near Newtown Creek. The boats that accompanied us were an Axopar 37 XC, 4 x Axopar 28 Cabin and a Ribeye A811 for a mini filming session.

The weather was glorious and the sea stable. Using radios we took instructions from Colin to get some great drone footage. Whilst the experts were getting everyone into action, those of us on board the boats took photos on our phones, capturing fun moments enjoyed on the water. The boats undertook a series of manoeuvres which can be seen in the video on our home page.
